BAPTISM

the action of being immersed in the water and symbolizes dying and being buried with Christ. The action of coming out of the water pictures Christ’s resurrection.

IN BAPTISM, THERE ARE TWO REQUIREMENTS BEFORE A PERSON IS BAPTIZED:

1) The person being baptized must have trusted in Jesus Christ as Savior

2) The person must understand what baptism signifies.

If a person knows Jesus as Savior, understands that baptism is a step of obedience in publicly proclaiming their faith in Christ, and desires to follow the example of Jesus through baptism, then we welcome that person to take part in this with us.

Christian baptism does not add anything to your salvation. It is a beautiful response to already being saved. It is a public celebration of moving from death to life through faith in Christ Jesus.
